Do we arrange our civil ceremony with Kent County Council? Once you have secured the date for your wedding day we shall make an appointment for you to come to the venue to book the ceremony online together with KCC. As long as you then continue to provide relevant information & payment to them as requested they will guarantee to have a celebrant and registrar with us on the day to legally marry you. Do have a look at the information and their costs

We don’t have accommodation on site however there are various local hotels and B&B’s of which contact details are available on our service providers list. Your guests may leave their cars in our free car park overnight and pre ordered taxis are willing to collect your guests and take them to their beds!

The hire of our venue is until midnight however on a Saturday an extension until 1am is possible.

The venue may indeed be hired exclusively for you and your guests to celebrate together.

This isn’t possible as we provide all catering and drinks in house, delivered by our professional chefs and front of house staff.

The only confetti permitted at The Plough are dried flower petals which may be used in the barn as you walk back up the aisle as a married couple or in the garden during your drink reception.

Acoustic music is a nice addition in the garden during the day and our house DJ is set up in the barn gallery, ready to get you up and dancing in the evening. The booking and his fee is between you and him. If you would prefer a live band this is also possible on provision of PLI & PAT certification & agreement to our live music level policy.

We are happy and capable to cater for allergies and dietary requirements. The food produced for guests with allergies will be made without the ingredients they are allergic to. Please note however that it will be produced in a kitchen where these ingredients are used.
